Grooming & Conditioning
Grooming and Conditioning are two big parts of how well a dog performs. A running problem can some times be easily be fixed by putting the dog on a zinc treatment or clipping there nails. We will teach the campers how to check the dogs for potential performance inhibiting problems.Conditioning is another important of the dogs health. Even in the off season the we are still working with dogs to keep them is shape.
Leader Training & Kennel Care
Canicross is the best way to train a dog to pull, it is also a fun way to improve your running speed. The kids will get the chance to try out the latest in equipment. We will teach the kids how to pick a running partner and how to properly fit the dog as well as them selves with the proper equipment. Kennel learn how we keep a clean and orderly kennel, and why it is so important. We will also go over feeding the dogs and how properly feeding has a big part in keeping the kennel clean.

The river is not only our coolest training ground for the winter it is also one of our favorite relaxation spots for the summer. The campers will spend the day exploring all the fun the river has to offer, from Kayaking to Fishing with Jr. World Champ Bailey Vitello!

| Arts & Crafts |
|
The campers will spend the day expressing there creative side by building a dog house and painting it, Making art from nature, and Recycle Art. The campers will also learn how to make lines for the sled dogs by fidding.

| Nature Walk |
|
Campers along with a musher will take a few of our furry friends on a long nature walk to a cool water fall in the middle of the woods. They will have a chance to get good and messy while exploring and examining the trail that our dogs train year round.
